The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released a picture of planting radishes on the International Space Station. This photo was taken by NASA astronaut Kate Robbins on November 11 this year. Planting plants is part of a research project on the possibility of plants living in space.NASA says astronauts chose radish because it is both edible and nutrient-rich. Helps NASA get a clearer picture of the possibility of producing food in space.
